Blue Ridge Rounders
The Rounder Way
The Blue Ridge Rounders live in and around an area
known as Blue Ridge in the foothills of upstate South Carolina. In days of old
times this area was know as the Dark Corner, an area where many gallons of
moonshine were produced and many an early NASCAR driver learned the skill of
getting across the finish line.
The Rounders play traditional, country roots music. It is old time music made
for now. Old Ballads and songs peppered with fiddle tunes are food the soul,
like stone ground gritz and hog meat, the precursors to good fiddling.
The group features Bob and Amy Buckingham, Josh Johnson and Dan Wood.
